Classic Moment: Mark Stuart "Third Rate Romance Low Rent Rendezvous" 2026-05-24

This goes back to “the fainting incident of 2023”. That night, when the show was over, Mark and I got to know each other and I told him that I could hear some Russell Smith of the Amazing Rhythm Aces in his singing. He told me he was not surprised because he WAS influenced by that band “back in the day” since they were from the same geographical region.

I’ve liked the Aces since their first release and have accumulated most of what they recorded on records.

There is nothing in my experience that compares to the song, however; I just like it.
